Japanese Happi Coats, Robes & Haori
Traditionally, happi coats were short robes that displayed the family
crest and were worn for festivals and special events. Our Mon Hawk Haori
Jacket features the hawk crest which is a symbol of the samurai and was
used to designate samurai and their families during special events.
Today, many Japanese restaurants now use happi coats as uniforms.
Our Happi coats come in a wide variety of colors including red,
turquoise blue, white, and black with various designs and patterns on
them. From floral designs and kanji writing to dragon and scenery each
design holds a special meaning in Japanese culture.
We carry happi coats for adults and children. Browse our happi coat selection and contact us with any questions.
