Pan, Japanese Tamago
This rectangular, Japanese Tamago Pan is a must for making Japanese-style omelets. In Japanese cuisine, rolled omelets are made as rectangular thin omelets, then rolled into a cylindrical or elongated shape using kitchen chopsticks. To obtain a roll with a constant diameter over the entire length, thin omelets should be of rectangular shape, which requires this special pan. The folded egg omelet is used on egg sushi rolls (tamago maki) or egg rice blocks (tamogo nigiri).
